With 44,000 acres of freshwater, Lake Martin is among the largest man-made lakes in the nation. Developed in 1923 by Alabama Power on the Tallapoosa River, Martin Dam was completed in 1926. Today Lake Martin is surrounded by more than 750 miles of wooded shoreline; undoubtedly one of Alabama’s most valuable natural treasures.

Lake Martin is located in east central Alabama nestled in the southern Appalachian Mountains, surrounded by Tallapoosa, Elmore and Coosa counties, including the communities of Alexander City, Jackson’s Gap, Dadeville, Eclectic and Tallassee.

Not only do the waters of the Tallapoosa River System provide power to homes and businesses in the region, it is home to a vast array of recreational activities, lodging, and residences.

One of the most popular ways to enjoy the beauty of the Lake Martin is 18-holes of golf on lush green fairways amid breathtaking scenery at StillWaters, or at the driving range overlooking Beaver Lake.

Lake Martin attracts visitors from all over the region to enjoy outdoor sports and recreation–fishing, boating, swimming, water skiing, tennis, camping, and hiking. It is well known as a destination for live-bait fishing, trolling, jigging, drifting and fly-fishing for everything from Bluegill Bream, Largemouth Bass and Stripers to spotted bass, catfish, and Crappie. Year-round marinas dot the many fingers of Lake Martin.

StillWaters is located in Tallapoosa County on the edge of Blue Creek at Lake Martin in Dadeville, Alabama. Just 30 minutes from Auburn University, StillWaters is an easy commute on game day and other college events throughout the year. StillWaters is only 45 minutes from Montgomery, Alabama’s state capital, 90 minutes from Birmingham, Alabama’s largest city, and two hours from Atlanta–a destination close to home from any direction.

StillWaters Courtside Lodge is located adjacent to the driving range. Each private unit is comfortably appointed with two double beds, one bath, dorm size refrigerator, coffee pot, and cable television.

Pricing is seasonal and comes with double occupancy, vary by arrival date, and do not include taxes and gratuities. 2 night minimum reservation. Rates are subject to change. Damages will be charged to the credit card on file.

Check-out: 11 a.m.

Unless otherwise stated, a $100.00 deposit required on each room reservation. Balance due day of check-in. All damages will be billed to reservation credit card within 5-days after departure.

Cancellations made more than 3 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of scheduled arrival will forfeit deposit.

No pets of any size or type are allowed. Fireworks are not permitted on StillWaters property
